Welcome to our Web Site.
The Botanical Artists' Society of Queensland is a voluntary, non profit organisation formed to foster a greater knowledge, love and understanding of Botanical Art.
The Society conducts classes and workshops that all are welcome to participate in. Please visit the classes page for further information.
To enable the wider community to view and purchase botanical art, observe artists at work and to be informed about and discuss the art form, the Society holds annual exhibitions of members' work and participates in displays and information sessions with associated groups. August 3rd is a great time to visit the Redcliffe Botanical Gardens as they are holding their annual event "What's cooking in the Gardens?" Come and see The Botanical Artists' Society display.
Like to have a good read? Janet Hauser has launched her illustrated book of local Heritage stories and an exhibition of the art that is in the book can be viewed at the Centre in Beaudesert. The exhibition ends on the 20th July.
Our Site will be regularly updated with dates of exciting exhibitions, classes and activities, add us to your 'favourites' so that you can keep up to date and take advantage of all the society has to offer.
New members are always welcome. For further information on joining the Society, please contact us.
