Lynda has enjoyed drawing from an early age, always claiming the white inside paper wrapper from new cakes of soap. She studied art at high school but it wasn’t until 2001 that she was introduced to a structured art course. Her friend asked her along to a free lesson in Botanical Art with Gillian Rankin. Lynda was hooked!
Over the next two years she attended lessons part time and was able to exhibit in Botanica 2002. In subsequent years she has attended Botanical Artists’ Society of Queensland Inc workshops and exhibited works in watercolour with a preference for native plants. Lynda also enjoys working in colour pencil, and pen and ink.
