Cliff Maddox

Cliff Maddox was introduced to Botanical Art with Plant Life Classes while attending The National Art School at East Sydney Tech. in the late 1960s. His career path however was in Garden Design and Property Development. Following a couple of weekend workshops with Gillian Scott at Tamborine Mountain in 1997 he undertook the one year course in Botanical Art at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha, with Margaret Saul in 1998. He has exhibited in Brisbane with the Botanical Artists' Society of Queensland since then, the Botanical Art Society of Australia from 2003 and The Art of Botanical Illustration Melbourne Biennial Exhibition in 2010 and 2012. His work is held in private collections in Australia and Overseas.
