Beryl's lifetime interest in plants led her to take classes in Botanical Art, and she joined the Margaret Saul School of Botanic Art in 1999.
She has always been very much involved with floral subjects, through a career in the orchid nursery industry and as a floral art judge. The opportunity to express the beauty of flowers in watercolour has been a natural extension of this involvement.
Beryl has exhibited at all the exhibitions of the Botanical Artists' Society of Queensland as well as several regional exhibitions and in private galleries.
