Lindsay has a rural background, has painted botanical subjects in water colour since childhood and enjoys varied interests in art, writing, music and botany. She has a Masters degree in Business Administration.
Her work is known for its detail and includes natives and introduced species. It is held in private collections in Australia and overseas.
She was a finalist in the Waterhouse Art Prize, Adelaide 2006, and has been the ‘Artist in Residence’ at Corinna Lodges in the Tarkine Wilderness, Tasmania from 2006 painting the flora of that area.
Lindsay has undertaken a number of special commissions and has exhibited successfully in many exhibitions including Botanica 2012 – ‘The Masters and Moore’ in Sydney.
